Right then I’ve started clearing my leave, which under normal circumstances is supposed to entail rebellious fun, late nights and preparation for civilian lifestyle. After a week of this “lifestyle” I’m proud to announce that;

1) The latest I’ve gone to bed so far is 1130pm.
2) The latest I’ve gotten up from bed is 9am.
3) I have stayed home 3 out of the last 5days.
4) On those occasions when I do manage to leave the house with purpose, the purpose tends to slant towards the military end of the spectrum.

BORED. That’s how my week was. Though I should not really be complaining given that my life in camp prior to this week was as follows;

1) 0730 to 0800 Arrive in camp
2) 0800 to 0900 Take my morning nap in the changing room
3) 0900 to 0930 Tea Break 1
4) 0930 to 0935 Collection of the day’s newspaper
5) 0935 to 1100 Reading of the day’s newspaper in various locations throughout the camp
6) 1100 to 1200 My second nap for the morning or surfing the internet at the spec mess
7) 1200 to 1300 Lunch or pool in the recreational room
8) 1300 to 1325 Listen to a particular warrant’s post lunch speech
9) 1325 to 1400 Hunt around camp drains for worms to feed office fish
10) 1400 to 1415 Feed fish
11) 1415 to 1500 Post lunch nap or continuation of newspaper reading
12) 1500 to 1530 2nd Tea break
13) 1530 to 1630 Surfing the internet in the spec mess
14) 1630 to 1730 Return to the office to bother people and look useful
15) 1730 to 1800 Wait for senior specs to realize that they have yet to fall us out before returning home.

So clearly this current sedentary lifestyle wins hands down.

Sigh to be honest I’m beset with numerous anxieties. I think I’ll blog about it at a later date.

That is all

Jonathan’s Gem for today:
The main problem I feel with worship songs today can be summed up in this;
“Draw me closer” VS “ Draw closer to me”
Let’s pray worship leaders can sift through the more subtle differences in today’s songs. Hmm maybe I’ll have another post on this too.
